Stephen P. Banco, MD, and Steven M. Evans, DO, formerly of The Reading Neck and Spine Center, has moved their practice to a new location at 2607 Keiser Blvd, Suite 200, Wyomissing, PA, 19610. Keystone Spine and Pain Management Center, a new, state-of-the-art spine center, will include physical therapy, primary-care physicians, wound care and a complete imaging center. Keystone Spine and Pain Management will be completely digital with an advanced electronic medical record and X-ray system.
A truly integrated health complex, patients will be able to see their primary care physician, obtain physical therapy, and see the spine surgeon or pain management specialist all within the same building. All of the providers will be integrated electronically to improve patient care and decrease the burden on the patient of tracking down their studies or medical records. “This kind of integration between specialists is in the true spirit of what Obamacare is trying to accomplish, “ said Dr. Banco. One of the pillars of The AffordableCare Act was to ease the flow of patient information between providers to help reduce preventable medical errors. Keystone Spine and Pain Management Center is clearly meeting this challenge head-on.
